If you’ve ended up here, you are exactly who I was a few weeks ago….lool….i promise you I was posting unimpressive pictures last month.
When I decided to improve my photo quality, I started researching editing apps, cameras and everything you can think of. If I’m being honest, it was and still is a very intimidating process and I still don’t know what I’m doing majority the time.

I knew right from the start that I won’t be spending a lot of money on a camera and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on apps I don’t understand. Which made me feel like I was done for. Everyone seemed to be selling something and speaking in terms I didn’t understand

I settled on Lightroom mobile because I liked the edits I was seeing and I wanted to replicate them. First thing I noticed is everyone was selling presets and that wasn’t for me. I really don’t like to spend money on things I may not like so continued to search because I needed better photos and I needed them for free.

If you’re looking to purchase presets, here are two I would recommend
Now let’s talk about free resources! The biggest library of free presets I’ve come across is by ‘PlanetEris‘ on youtube. It’s over a years worth of presets and you could navigate until you find what you need
I use a variety of presets by Ollivves. My favourite is the G3 from the Greece presets. You can find tutorials on how to add presets to your Lightroom account on desktop and mobile app on their YouTube channels.
Outside of the apps, I make sure to take my pictures in good lighting and that’s about it. I hope this is helpful to everyone that’s been asking. I will be sure to update as I learn and find more resources
